Help solve the mystery of the abandoned wedding from 1927

Deep in the archives of births, deaths and marriages is a half completed record for the wedding on the 31st July 1927 of Miss Elizabeth Willis and Mr James Price, both from Sidcup. The wedding details were in the process of being written up by the vicar of St John’s Church in Sidcup, but the wedding was abandoned at the last moment.
